1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, launching a workspace, or using any support interfaces provided by TikitDesk, you agree to comply with and be strictly bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or utilize our helpdesk platform.
2. Account Registration & Security
To initialize a workspace, you must complete our secure setup wizard. You confirm that all information provided (including company name, work email, and business data) is accurate. You are entirely responsible for keeping your secure login link (Magic Link) and access credentials confidential.
3. 15-Day Premium Trials & Subscription Transitions
TikitDesk offers a transparent onboarding infrastructure to experience our premium capabilities immediately:
- No Initial Credit Card Required: New workspaces that choose a paid plan (Professional or Scale) at signup are automatically provisioned into a 15-day trial of that plan to test team ticket mechanics instantly. Workspaces that choose the Free plan start immediately on Free, with no trial period.
- Graceful Trial Expiration: Upon the expiration of the 15-day trial period, if no paid subscription is activated, your account updates automatically to our Starter Free Tier.
- Graceful Downgrade Lock: To protect your structural integrity, we do NOT delete extra user accounts if your team count exceeds the Free Tier cap (maximum 2 users). Instead, the system locks access for the newest extra accounts, keeping only the Admin and the oldest user active. Access can be instantly restored at any time by upgrading your package.
4. Content & Workspace Ownership
You retain absolute ownership and all intellectual property rights over any tickets, custom issue categories, attachments, internal messages, and tenant information submitted into your TikitDesk workspace. TikitDesk claims no ownership over your operational support data.
5. Acceptable Use & Platform Fair Use
You agree to use TikitDesk strictly for legitimate business customer support operations. You shall not misuse our routing mechanics, upload harmful executable files into helpdesk attachments, or execute automated query scripts that stress platform performance metrics maliciously.
6. Payments & Refunds
After your 15-day premium trial, you may choose to upgrade to a paid subscription (Professional or Scale). All payments are securely processed. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. We do not offer refunds for partial months of service or for months unused with an open account. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard.
7. Limitation of Liability
TikitDesk provides helpdesk infrastructure on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by governing law, TikitDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or operational data loss resulting from temporary system outages or ticket latency events.
